The average monthly data consumption in Indonesia rose significantly by 22%, from 11.8 GB in the 1st quarter of 2020 to 14.4 GB in the 2nd quarter of 2021. Indonesia’s statistics are much higher than the global data consumption increase of 17.2%.

Is the increase in data consumption due to the increased WFH situation or due to greater digital penetration within the Indonesian economy?
