About the Company

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing company with a strong global presence and a large workforce in Indonesia. To support its continued growth and operational excellence, the company is seeking an experienced HR – Industrial Relations Lead to strengthen employee relations, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and foster a harmonious industrial environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with strong Industrial Relations expertise who enjoys working closely with employees, labor unions, management, and government stakeholders in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all Industrial Relations (IR) activities to maintain a positive and productive employee relations environment.
  • Handle employee disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and dispute resolution in compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company policies.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with labor unions and employee representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian Labor Law, Collective Labor Agreements (CBA), and internal HR policies.
  • Represent the company in labor negotiations, bipartite/tripartite meetings, mediation, and industrial relations forums.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including the Manpower Office (Disnaker), labor mediators, legal consultants, and relevant government institutions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and industrial relations risks.
  • Monitor labor law updates and support the implementation of HR policies and compliance initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the Industrial Relations team while driving continuous process improvement.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law, preferably specializing in Labor Law.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on Industrial Relations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law, Industrial Relations, Collective Labor Agreements (CBA), disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution.
  • Proven experience managing labor unions, employee grievances, negotiations, and mediation processes.
  • Experience coordinating with Disnaker, labor mediators, legal consultants, and government authorities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Industrial Relations, Labor Law, or Mediation certifications are an advantage.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Willing to be based in Tangerang.
