@gojekindonesia and @tbsenergiutama, a leading integrated energy company in Indonesia formed a joint venture company called Electrum to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia. Electrum was founded with an initial capital of IDR 142 billion which will continue to be increased to IDR 14.2 trillion in the next 5 years. This is part of both companies’ commitment to achieve Zero Emissions by 2030; whereby Gojek will transition its entire fleet to 100% EV and TBS to invest in clean energy during the same period. This is also in line with Indonesia’s Government plans to prioritise the development of EV industry a national priority.
