Sr. Project Manager

Our client is a mining organisation launching underground mineral development and infrastructure construction operations. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead this critical phase, overseeing a large team and this role is open to expatriate candidates.

• Lead underground mineral development and infrastructure construction from early development through to operational start-up
• Manage a team of 30 to 40 people across mining owner and consulting functions

Preferred Requirements

• Substantial experience in underground mining project delivery, from feasibility through to operational handover
• Proven track record managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in mineral development and infrastructure construction
• Strong stakeholder management across mining owner and consulting organisations
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and risk in complex, phased mining projects
• Familiarity with roster-based operational models and remote or regional site management

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
• Experience working on ASX-listed or major mining operations, or with tier-one mining consultancies
