Senior Fire Engineer

Our client is a consulting engineering firm seeking an experienced Fire Engineering professional to join their building services team. This is a full-time role for someone with strong technical expertise in fire protection and life safety systems design, ready to lead the design and delivery of complex fire protection projects across commercial and institutional buildings. The successful candidate will work on MEP coordination projects, applying their knowledge of sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire pumps, and hydraulic calculations to meet NFPA and local standards.

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years' experience in a consulting engineering environment delivering building services projects
• Demonstrated expertise in fire protection system design and engineering
• Proficiency in sprinkler, hydrant, and fire pump system design with strong hydraulic calculation skills
• Experience coordinating fire protection design with other MEP disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) certification, or eligibility to obtain
• Familiarity with fire protection design software and CAD tools commonly used in consulting practice
