Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the organization's security platform ("Paved Road") to enable secure-by-default development through automation and self-service.
- Develop security automation for identity lifecycle, credential management, access reviews, and secret management to reduce manual security operations.
- Build and manage identity infrastructure, including SSO, MFA, automated access provisioning, and rapid account revocation aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement Security-as-Code, integrating IAM, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security controls into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop self-service security tools, access portals, and real-time security dashboards that improve developer experience and platform visibility.
- Continuously optimize the security platform by identifying engineering pain points and automating repetitive security processes.
- Min 7 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Platform Security, or Infrastructure Security with a strong automation mindset.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages to build security tools and automate workflows.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Deep understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), SSO, SAML, OIDC, MFA, and identity providers such as JumpCloud or Google Workspace.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and implementing automated security controls such as secret scanning and policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, modern access management solutions (e.g., Teleport), and cloud-native security best practices.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build developer-friendly security solutions across engineering teams.
