Project Manager (Jacking) – Site Based

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical sewage system infrastructure project on a site-based, full-time basis. This is an urgent placement for an ongoing project already underway, reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations. The role is based on-site and offers the opportunity to manage a complex underground horizontal drilling and piping project from the ground up, working with a skilled operations team to deliver essential infrastructure outcomes.

• Lead site-based project delivery for underground horizontal drilling and sewage piping infrastructure
• Report directly to GM Operations with full accountability for project milestones and team coordination
• Immediate start on an active, ongoing project with established momentum and clear deliverables

Preferred Requirements

• Proven experience in jacking operations and underground horizontal drilling projects
• Demonstrated project management expertise in sewage or water infrastructure delivery
• Strong site-based leadership and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple work streams
• Solid understanding of piping systems, underground construction methods, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across operations, engineering, and site teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management credential
• Experience in regulated infrastructure or utilities sectors, with knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks
