Production Manager – Outsole Shoes

Our client is a footwear manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee outsole shoe production operations. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic production team, manage complex manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement across the facility. You'll coordinate all stages of production, from mixing and pressing through to finishing, while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and efficiency targets are consistently met.

• Oversee end-to-end production processes including mixing, pressing, and finishing, with accountability for quality, safety, and efficiency
• Lead and develop a production team, managing manpower allocation, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive operational excellence through production monitoring, maintenance coordination, and implementation of efficiency and waste management programs

Preferred Requirements

• Proven production management experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and ISO 50001 standards, with practical experience implementing and maintaining compliance
• Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and waste management practices, with a track record of driving efficiency improvements
• Solid understanding of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) regulations, Buyer standards, and NOS (National Occupational Standards), with the ability to embed safety culture across the team
• Competence with Microsoft Office and production management systems; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or equivalent qualification in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related manufacturing discipline
• Formal certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) are highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in footwear or similar consumer goods manufacturing environments
