Production and Warehouse Assistant Manager – Sumatra

Our client is a food manufacturing business seeking a Production and Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their operations team in Sumatra. This is a full-time role for someone with solid supervisory or managerial experience in production, processing, or warehouse operations who is ready to step up into a larger leadership position. You'll take ownership of production scheduling, warehouse management, and continuous improvement initiatives, working across a team focused on operational excellence and cost optimization.

• Lead production and warehouse operations with responsibility for scheduling, safety, and performance metrics
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and other proven methodologies
• Manage and develop a team while maintaining strong relationships across manufacturing, logistics, and compliance functions

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in production, processing, or warehouse operations with supervisory or managerial responsibility
• Willing and able to be placed in Sumatra
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, warehouse management systems, and continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Kaizen
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and standard computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Solid understanding of safety, health, environment (SHE) principles and process safety management
• Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Intermediate English language proficiency as a minimum
• Formal training or certification in continuous improvement methodologies or lean manufacturing
