Procurement Director

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead a strategic and operationally robust procurement function. This is a full-time role managing significant capital and operational expenditure across a large, complex team. The successful candidate will bring multinational corporation experience, combining strategic vision with hands-on operational excellence to drive value, efficiency, and compliance across the procurement lifecycle.

• Lead procurement strategy and operations for major CAPEX and OPEX programmes across a large, distributed team
• Drive cost optimisation, supplier relationships, and risk management at enterprise scale
• Proven track record in multinational environments with exposure to complex, high-value procurement decisions

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years in procurement, with at least 5 years in a director-level or equivalent senior leadership role
• Demonstrated experience managing large teams and complex procurement portfolios in multinational organisations
• Strong strategic capability combined with operational rigour; comfortable balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution
• Proven expertise in managing significant CAPEX and OPEX budgets, supplier negotiations, and contract management
• Experience in regulated or complex industries, with strong stakeholder management across finance, operations, and executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) or equivalent
• Experience in a multinational or ASX-listed environment, or equivalent large-scale corporate procurement background
