Operation Manager

Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the maintenance and management of their land fleet, overseeing both machinery and engine operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who can manage teams effectively, coordinate scheduling, and drive project outcomes across a transportation-focused operation. The successful candidate will bring mechanical or mining engineering expertise, a willingness to travel, and a track record of managing complex logistics and maintenance programs.

• Lead fleet maintenance operations, managing machinery, engines, and a skilled team across multiple sites
• Own project management and scheduling responsibilities with high mobility across locations
• Combine technical engineering knowledge with strong people leadership and operational delivery

Preferred Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet maintenance, machinery operations, or similar engineering-focused environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead and schedule teams, with strong people management skills
• Solid project management capability and the ability to deliver outcomes on time and within scope
• Extensive transportation or logistics experience, with comfort managing complex operational workflows
• High mobility and willingness to travel regularly to support field operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• Formal project management training or certification
• Experience in a regulated or safety-critical operational environment
