Mine Planning Manager

This is a full-time role based in Indonesia, offering the opportunity to manage complex underground and open-pit mining projects from feasibility through to long-term operational scheduling. This role is open for expatriates as well.

• Manage reserve estimation and develop mine concepts for both underground and open-pit operations, including feasibility studies and life-of-mine schedules
• Lead optimisation and evaluation of mineral reserves using specialised mining software for pit and underground design, planning, and scheduling
• Support regulatory and permitting processes including RKAB, AMDAL, and mineral reserve reporting

Preferred Requirements

• Proven expertise in mine planning with demonstrated experience in reserve estimation for both underground and open-pit operations
• Strong proficiency with mining software platforms for pit and underground optimisation, design, planning, and scheduling
• Experience developing life-of-mine production schedules and mining strategies aligned with feasibility study outcomes
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including RKAB, AMDAL, and mining permitting processes
• Ability to manage complex projects from scoping study through to integrated mine design and operational implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
• Professional membership with a recognised mining or engineering body
• Certification or formal training in mine planning software and reserve estimation methodologies
