MEP Drafter

Our client is looking for an MEP Drafter to join their team and support the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that form the backbone of their industrial and commercial facilities. This is a hands-on role where your technical drawings and attention to detail will directly shape how critical building systems are installed and maintained across their portfolio.

• Produce detailed MEP drawings and documentation for design-and-build projects from concept through to installation
• Work across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for industrial and commercial facilities
• Collaborate with engineers, site teams, and clients to ensure drawings are accurate, buildable, and delivered on schedule

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in MEP drafting software and CAD tools, with the ability to produce clear, code-compliant drawings
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they integrate within buildings
• Experience working on design-and-build or construction projects, ideally in industrial or commercial settings
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple drawing sets and revisions
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, contractors, and site teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Formal training or certification in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards relevant to MEP systems
