In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational governance—ensuring seamless HR policies, mitigating risk, and directly supporting field teams in forest concession camps. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys traveling to remote project sites, and brings sharp operational intuition to identify and resolve site-level anomalies.
What You Will Do
- Establish HR Governance: Build, implement, and monitor robust HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to support company scalability and maintain internal controls.
- Manage Field & Remote Operations: Frequently travel to remote forest concession camps across Indonesia to inspect living conditions, assess local workforce morale, and address potential site issues.
- Oversight & Compliance: Audit field HR operations (attendance, site payroll, and daily labor compliance) across multiple concession camps to prevent operational anomalies and fraud.
- Support Site HR Teams: Act as a key partner to on-site HR/GA officers, providing direction on daily worker management, contractor relations, and field administrative standards.
- Workforce Planning & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle for HQ staff in Jakarta while managing site staffing strategies for 40+ personnel per concession.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record of managing both corporate HQ and remote site-level field operations.
- Target Industry Background: Candidates coming from Mining, Natural Resources, Energy, or Heavy Industry backgrounds are strongly preferred.
- Field Readiness: Strong physical capability and willingness to travel regularly to remote forest camps and field concessions.
- Operational Acumen: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for spotting operational/payroll anomalies and a fast, agile execution style.
- Core Competencies: Solid grounding in Indonesian labor law, field HR auditing, site payroll governance, and daily worker/contractor management.
