Our client is seeking a Head of Transformation to join its transformation team, working closely with senior management to drive strategic and operational transformation initiatives across the business.
This is a high-impact role responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve business performance, developing financial and commercial business cases, and supporting the execution of transformation initiatives across areas including Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Factory Operations, and Logistics. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical and financial capabilities with commercial acumen and hands-on execution skills. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to work on a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives with direct impact on the company's growth, profitability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess business transformation opportunities across Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Factory Operations, Logistics, and other key functions.
  • Work closely with senior management and business stakeholders to understand key business challenges and develop practical, commercially viable solutions.
  • Develop financial models and detailed business cases to assess the commercial and financial impact of transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate initiatives on a case-by-case basis, including investment requirements, financial returns, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Support the development and execution of transformation initiatives from initial assessment through implementation.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to translate strategic recommendations into actionable initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress and financial impact of transformation initiatives and track key performance indicators against agreed objectives.
  • Conduct market, operational, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Prepare presentations, management reports, and recommendations for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the identification and prioritization of initiatives based on commercial attractiveness, financial impact, and feasibility.
  • Challenge existing processes and ways of working and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and effective implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Support the Transformation Director and senior leadership team on ad hoc strategic and commercial projects as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate finance, transformation, or commercial/operational roles, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer business environment.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, with a proven ability to structure complex business problems and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong finance acumen, including experience in financial modelling, business case development, profitability analysis, and investment evaluation.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of how operational initiatives translate into revenue growth, cost savings, margin improvement, and overall business performance.
  • Experience working on cross-functional transformation, strategy, performance improvement, or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Factory Operations, Logistics, or Commercial functions would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous and complex business challenges independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to move initiatives from analysis and recommendation through to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial and commercial insights to senior management.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach, with a strong drive to deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's/MBA or professional qualification would be advantageous.
