Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in Personal Care products. They are currently looking for a Head of Product Research & Innovation to lead the product innovation function and oversee the Product Development, R&D, and Packaging R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall Product Research & Innovation function.
- Manage and oversee the Product Development, R&D, and Packaging R&D teams.
- Lead new product development from concept, formulation, testing, and trials through commercialization.
- Drive product innovation and continuous improvement based on market and customer needs.
- Ensure product development meets quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial.
- Develop team capabilities and ensure effective execution of R&D and innovation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in R&D, Product Development, Product Innovation, or a related function.
- Experience in the Personal Care / FMCG industry is preferred.
- Strong experience in product development and commercialization.
- Experience managing or leading R&D/Product Development teams.
- Good understanding of formulation, product trials, scale-up, and packaging development.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
