About the Role
We are proud to be partnering exclusively with a fast-growing local conglomerate business chain in Indonesia as they look to strengthen the people architecture sitting at the heart of their holding structure.
As the group continues to expand across multiple business units, they are searching for a Head of Talent Management & Organization Development. This is a critical role designed to bring consistency, rigour, and strategic intent to how the group identifies, develops, and retains its best people.
As the group continues to expand across multiple business units, they are searching for a Head of Talent Management & Organization Development. This is a critical role designed to bring consistency, rigour, and strategic intent to how the group identifies, develops, and retains its best people.
This is an opportunity to build and own the talent and OD agenda at the group level — with real influence across every business unit under the holding.
What You Will Need
Our client needs a mature, credible Talent Management and OD leader. Someone who can operate with authority at the holding level, engage effectively with BU leadership, and translate group people priorities into frameworks that are practical enough to land on the ground. This is not an advisory role; it requires an owner's mindset and the ability to drive execution across a complex, multi-BU environment.
You should bring:
- 8–12 years of experience in Talent Management, OD, or a closely related HR discipline — holding company or multi-entity experience is a strong advantage
- Deep expertise in performance management — designing, implementing, and embedding frameworks that are rigorous, consistent, and understood at every level of the organisation
- Proven experience in talent management and succession planning — you have mapped key positions, identified talent pools, and built succession pipelines that the business actually relies on
- Strong OD capability — you understand how structure, capability, and culture interact, and you know how to design interventions that move the needle
- The ability to operate at the group level while maintaining strong working relationships with BU HR and business leaders
- A systems thinker who can bring consistency across diverse business units without imposing a one-size-fits-all approach
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence — you are credible with C-suite leaders and BU CEOs, and you can hold your ground when it matters
- Experience building frameworks from the ground up — this role requires someone who can design, socialise, and embed, not just maintain what already exists
- Performance Management — Own the group-wide performance management framework, ensuring consistency in goal-setting, review cadence, calibration, and outcomes across all business units under the holding
- Talent Management — Design and implement a structured talent management system at the holding level — identifying high-potential individuals, building development pathways, and ensuring the group has a clear and actionable view of its talent landscape
- Succession Planning — Lead succession planning for all key positions across business units — mapping critical roles, assessing readiness, and ensuring the group is never caught without a pipeline for roles that matter most
- Organization Development — Partner with BU leadership and group HR to assess organisational health, support structural design decisions, and design capability-building interventions aligned to business growth
- Establish a common language and cadence for talent reviews across the holding — bringing BU HR teams into a shared process without disrupting their operational autonomy
- Build reporting and visibility tools that give holding leadership a clear, real-time picture of talent depth, performance distribution, and succession readiness across the group
- Work closely with the Group CHRO and holding leadership to translate business strategy into people and capability priorities
- Develop and continuously improve the frameworks, tools, and processes that sit under the talent and OD function — ensuring they remain fit for purpose as the group scales
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strategic yet grounded people leader — someone who can operate with authority at the group level, build with precision, and influence without direct control. If you are keen to apply, please send your updated CV to [email protected]
