Head of IT Security

We are partnering with a fast-growing digital platform in Indonesia to hire a Head of IT Security.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will take full ownership of building and scaling the company’s end-to-end security function from the ground up.

• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, data protection laws)
• Establish and manage security operations, including monitoring and incident response, to secure cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks
• Implement strong identity and access management controls and mitigate third-party and vendor security risks
• Drive security awareness and culture across the organization
• Leverage your expertise in IT Security, Roadmap, GRC, Security Policy, Security Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, Identity and Access Management Controls, and Security Awareness and Culture

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in IT Security / Cybersecurity, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge and exposure across across:
  • Cloud Security (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Application & Infrastructure Security
  • Incident Response / Security Operations
  • Security frameworks (ISO 27001, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage security incidents and risks, with experience in tech, fintech, digital, or banking environments
• Still hands-on and comfortable operating in a lean environment
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are advantageous
• Still hands-on and comfortable operating in a lean setup
• Able to balance security requirements with business needs
• You have a builder mindset - enjoy creating structures from scratch
• You bring strong ownership and leadership presence
• You can communicate complex security topics in a practical, business-friendly way
