About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing tech company on an exciting upward trajectory, scaling their operations, expanding their team, and building something that truly matters. As they enter their next phase of growth, we are proud to be their exclusive partner in finding their first-ever Head of HR.
This is a rare greenfield opportunity to build a people function from the ground up. You won't be inheriting a fully formed HR machine. You'll be the architect of it. The successful candidate will report directly to VP or C-level leadership and will own the entire HR function for HQ, covering teams across Marketing, Tech, Business Operations, Growth, Finance, and Legal.

What You Will Need
Our client isn't looking for someone who manages HR from a distance. They need a builder, someone with startup DNA, a hustle mindset, and the confidence to walk into ambiguity and turn it into structure.
You should bring:
- 5–8+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity — ideally within a startup or high-growth tech environment
- Proven experience in manpower planning, recruitment, and HR operations — you've built or helped scale a people function before
- A strong grasp of Indonesian labor law, BPJS, and local compliance requirements
- The ability to work hands-on — from writing policies to sitting in interviews to coaching managers
- Sharp business acumen — you understand that HR exists to serve the business, not the other way around
- A track record of shaping company culture, not just documenting it
- Comfort navigating the pace and needs of a founding team — you can read the room, earn trust fast, and integrate yourself naturally
- High ownership, high agency — a "fix it and get it done" attitude with a strong bias for action
- Own the full HR function for HQ — build it, run it, and continuously improve it
- Lead manpower planning and headcount budgeting in close partnership with the founding team and department heads
- Drive end-to-end recruitment to support aggressive company growth — filling roles across tech, business, operations, and corporate functions
- Build and grow the HR team from scratch — onboarding HR specialists and admins as the business scales
- Design and embed company culture — from onboarding experiences to values reinforcement to day-to-day people practices
- Establish HR systems and processes — contracts, policies, HRIS, employee lifecycle management, and more
- Champion career progression and L&D frameworks — giving people a clear reason to grow within the company
- Act as a trusted business partner to department leads — translating business needs into people strategies
- Manage HR administration and compliance — including BPJS, payroll coordination, and all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the broader operations team to align HQ HR practices with depot and hub operations where relevant
