What You Will Need
Our client needs an HC leader who is energised by building from scratch — someone who can establish hiring pipelines and training infrastructure fast enough to keep pace with an aggressive growth curve. - 7–12 years of experience in Human Capital or HR, with a strong background in high-volume F&B, beverage, or retail operations
- Hands-on experience supporting a brand through rapid store rollout — you understand the people's demands of scaling from a small team to a multi-outlet operation in a compressed timeline
- A proven track record in building hiring pipelines from the ground up — you know how to attract, assess, and onboard at speed without compromising on quality
- Strong capability in training and development — you have designed and delivered onboarding and capability programs that work at the store level and scale as headcount grows
- A builder's mindset — you are comfortable with ambiguity, energised by greenfield challenges, and pragmatic about what needs to be done now versus later
- Fresh, creative thinking about people strategy — the business is positioning itself to outcompete established players, and the HC approach needs to reflect that ambition
- A collaborative working style and the ability to navigate a matrix reporting structure effectively
- Comfort working closely with a BU CEO and broader group leadership simultaneously, aligning on priorities without losing momentum
- Build the HC function for a newly launched business unit from the ground up — establishing the people infrastructure, processes, and team needed to support rapid scale
- Design and execute hiring pipelines to support an expansion target of 2026, with further acceleration expected in 2027
- Develop a training strategy and onboarding framework fit for a fast-scaling store network — ensuring every new outlet opens with a team that is ready and aligned to brand standards
- Partner closely with the BU CEO on people priorities, headcount planning, and organisational design as the business grows
- Work in close alignment with group HR leadership on broader people frameworks, policies, and best practices
- Establish HC reporting, workforce planning, and hiring metrics that give leadership clear visibility into the talent pipeline at all times
- Build and develop the internal HC team as the business scales, knowing that today's lean setup will need to grow alongside the outlets
- Bring unconventional, creative thinking to employer branding and talent attraction — helping position this new venture as a destination for the right people
