Job Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end data strategy closely aligned with growth, personalization, and risk management.
• Embed data insights into decision-making across product, engineering, risk, finance, and commercial teams.
• Build advanced credit underwriting models leveraging payments and alternative data.
• Design and launch real-time fraud and risk detection engines.
• Drive adoption of AI and advanced analytics across operations, customer experience, and product.
• Scale predictive and prescriptive ML models to optimize efficiency and business impact.
• Architect modern data pipelines (streaming + batch) for low-latency decisioning.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and data privacy frameworks are established and enforced.
• Grow and lead a high-performing data & analytics team; attract and mentor world-class talent.
• Foster a culture of experimentation (A/B testing, synthetic controls) and data storytelling to influence executive actions.

Key Requirements

• 8–12 years in data leadership roles, ideally within fintech (payments, lending, fraud/risk).
• Strong track record in payment flows, credit underwriting, fraud detection, and AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, ML frameworks, and streaming architectures (Kafka/Flink/Spark).
• Demonstrated ability to connect analytics initiatives with measurable business growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and governance for fintech, including cross-border data requirements.
