Head of Business Development – Logistics Tech

A very exciting opportunity to lead the Sales and Business Development initiatives for all Digital Products at a leading local Logistics Tech company

About the Company:
Our client is a leading local logistics tech company, focusing on expanding its digital ecosystem through app-based delivery solutions. Beyond traditional logistics services, the company is growing new digital offerings such as on-demand delivery, intercity purchasing services, and personal shopping solutions, with a strong focus on increasing app adoption, user acquisition, and new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end user acquisition efforts for the company's app-based services, including delivery, intercity purchasing services, and personal shopping offerings.
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new users and increasing transaction volume across digital app products.
  • Own the full business development and sales cycle including lead generation, canvassing, meetings, negotiations, onboarding, retention, and upselling.
  • Develop creative sales campaigns, activation programs, and partnerships to increase product visibility and drive user acquisition.
  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end customer journey to improve conversion, retention, and user experience.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to the Product team to support product improvements and better align offerings with market demand.
  • Build and scale the business development team, including sales structure design, KPI frameworks, commission schemes, and sales playbooks.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of business development hunters to drive consistent execution.
  • Work closely with Product leadership to align commercial initiatives with product development and revenue goals.
  • Act as a key commercial stakeholder in shaping growth strategies for the company's digital products.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, growth, or commercial roles.
  • Strong hunter mentality with proven success in driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Experience selling digital products or app-based services is highly preferred (e-commerce, OTA, OTT, logistics tech, marketplace, on-demand platforms, etc.).
  • Open to candidates from area management, regional growth, or commercial roles with strong acquisition experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital product ecosystems and ability to collaborate effectively with Product teams.
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales funnels, from acquisition through retention and upselling.
  • Proven experience building teams, designing sales structures, and implementing performance frameworks.
  • Creative commercial mindset with strong ability to develop market-facing campaigns and growth initiatives.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Possesses great communication skills, both in English and Bahasa, with the ability to manage and build relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
