GM, Finance Accounting & Tax

Our client, a leading infrastructure investment group, is seeking an experienced GM Finance, Accounting & Tax to oversee finance, accounting and tax activities across its Indonesian operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for a senior finance professional to work closely with senior management and international stakeholders in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Finance, Accounting and Tax activities across the group.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidation and financial analysis across multiple entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing and management reporting.
• Manage technical accounting matters, audits, tax compliance and financial governance.
• Review and challenge financial information received from subsidiary finance teams.
• Support the CFO and senior management with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Act as a key finance contact for international stakeholders, presenting and explaining financial information in English.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and governance across the organisation.
• Work independently in a lean structure, taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day finance matters.
• Support financial matters relating to the group's infrastructure and asset-based operations.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong experience across Finance, Accounting and Tax, with proven financial reporting and consolidation experience.
• Solid technical accounting, audit and tax knowledge.
• Experience managing finance across multiple entities or business units.
• Experience within infrastructure, construction, property, utilities, transportation, or other asset-intensive industries is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate in a lean, hands-on environment with limited team support.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Practical, independent and execution-oriented approach.
