Finance & Accounting Manager

We're supporting an established multinational organisation in the search for a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead its day-to-day finance and accounting activities in Indonesia.

The role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and broad exposure across financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, treasury, tax and controls. The successful candidate will manage a finance team and work closely with senior local and expatriate management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day Finance & Accounting function and manage the finance team.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring.
• Manage cash flow, treasury and banking activities.
• Oversee accounting processes, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Support tax compliance and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage external audit requirements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Review and improve finance processes, policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and management reporting to support business decisions.
• Work closely with senior management and other functions on operational and financial matters.

Requirements

• Strong experience across Finance & Accounting, ideally at Manager level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial controls.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Good understanding of taxation and audit processes.
• Previous team management experience.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on finance environment.
• Strong communication skills with good working proficiency in English.
• Property development, real estate or property management experience would be advantageous.
• Big Four or external audit experience would be advantageous.
• Experience working in an MNC environment and dealing directly with expatriate stakeholders or management would be advantageous.
