Engineering Manager – Pharmaceutical

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this full-time role offers the opportunity to manage and develop an engineering team while driving technical excellence across MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and broader engineering operations. This is an ideal position for an experienced engineering professional with at least three years of management experience who is ready to step into a leadership role within a regulated healthcare environment.

• Lead and mentor an engineering team, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee MEP systems and engineering infrastructure critical to pharmaceutical operations
• Report directly to the Head of Engineering with clear accountability for team performance and project delivery

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum three years of engineering management or team leadership experience
• Strong technical background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and design
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional projects in a regulated environment
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with demonstrated capability in recruitment and performance management
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare facility standards and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Professional engineering qualification or chartership (e.g. CPEng, CEng) is highly valued
• Formal management or leadership qualification, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity
