Director, Finance – Business Partner

Our client is a leading multinational organisation with an established presence in Indonesia. Operating a complex, multi-site business, the company is recognised for its strong operational performance, governance, and continued growth.

Reporting directly to the Country CFO, they are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner at the Director level to provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation. Partnering closely with executive management, you will help drive commercial performance, operational excellence, and long-term business growth while overseeing governance, financial performance, and business partnering across the finance function.

Job Description

• Partner with the Country CFO and executive leadership team to drive strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Support financial strategy, long-term planning, capital optimisation, and cash management initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management.
• Drive commercial finance through strong business partnering and financial analysis.
• Oversee financial governance, internal controls, compliance, tax, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver financial insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with executive leadership, regional stakeholders, and external partners.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team while driving continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Deputy CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Business Partner, or senior finance leader within a multinational or regional organisation.
• Experience within hospitality is highly regarded, although candidates from other operationally intensive, asset-heavy or multi-site industries will also be considered.
• Strong background in commercial finance, strategic business partnering, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
• Broad end-to-end finance leadership across reporting, governance, tax, treasury, controls, and compliance.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership teams and preparing board-level reporting.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential.
