About the Role
The Deputy Head of HR Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and scalability of end-to-end HR operations while acting as a strategic partner to the business.

This role requires a leader with a strong and proven foundation in HR Operations, with deep expertise across HR systems, people data, governance, and operational HR processes. The successful candidate must be highly operational, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with the ability to build structured HR processes that support a fast-growing organization.

The role balances operational excellence with strategic HR insight, supporting organizational growth, workforce stability, and leadership readiness in a highly dynamic environment.

The position plays a critical role in translating business needs into practical HR solutions, ensuring people processes, systems, and policies enable performance, engagement, and sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Business Partnership
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all employee lifecycle processes
  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to operational and functional leaders, aligning HR practices with business objectives
  • Support organizational change initiatives and ensure smooth implementation through strong HR governance
Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
  • Advise management and executive teams on organizational structure, role clarity, scaling needs, and succession planning
  • Support internal mobility, leadership pipeline development, and workforce planning to meet business growth demands
Employee Relations, Culture & Workforce Governance
  • Champion and embed company values, fostering a disciplined, inclusive, and high-performance work culture
  • Act as a neutral and credible party in handling complex employee relations cases, disputes, and sensitive investigations
  • Guide leaders on managing people issues with fairness and consistency
Data-Driven HR & HRIS Excellence
  • Leverage HRIS data to deliver accurate insights on turnover, headcount, engagement, and workforce trends
  • Ensure data integrity and governance within HR systems to support reporting and strategic decision-making
  • Translate HR data into actionable recommendations for leadership
Total Rewards & Compensation Support
  • Support the design and execution of competitive salary structures, benefits, and reward programs
  • Conduct compensation, increment, and benefit simulations to support budgeting and workforce planning
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment regulations, and health & safety standards across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proactively identify and mitigate people-related risks, ensuring strong compliance and audit readiness
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop HR operations and HRBP teams to ensure high execution quality and service delivery
  • Build a disciplined, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused HR team
Key Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience with a strong foundation in HR Operations as a core career pillar
  • Proven expertise across key HR Operations spectrums, including HRIS management, HR data analytics, data mining & data management, HR compliance, and performance management systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, HR data management, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage HR data and systems to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements
  • Solid knowledge of labor law, employment regulations, and HR governance
  • Strong capability in data analytics, reporting, and executive-level presentation
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills
  • Mature, patient, and resilient leadership style with close attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel as required
