Our client is seeking a Data Centre System Manager to oversee data centre infrastructure and maintenance operations.

Our client is seeking a Data Centre System Manager to join their operations team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of data centre infrastructure management across both new and live environments. The successful candidate will lead the governance and continuous improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program, develop optimised maintenance strategies, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical systems.

Own and govern the CMMS program, driving maintenance strategy development and continuous optimisation
Lead infrastructure management across new and live data centre environments with full operational accountability
Report directly to the Head of Operations with clear scope to shape how systems are maintained and improved

Preferred Requirements

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing data centre infrastructure systems
Proven experience implementing and optimising CMMS platforms and maintenance workflows
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute maintenance strategies that balance cost, reliability, and performance
Experience managing infrastructure across multiple environments or sites simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to operations teams

Preferred Qualifications

Qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or facilities management
Certification in CMMS software or maintenance management best practices
Previous experience in a data centre, critical infrastructure, or similar regulated operational environment
