Construction Manager is responsible for overall planning, management, coordination and execution of construction works and activities.

Construction Manager is responsible for overall planning, management, coordination and execution
of construction works and activities. Ultimately, you will be managing the assigned projects by
ensuring the adherence to the required specifications, budget goals and timeline.
- Develop control strategies, plans, processes and procedures reflecting the company's
objectives and the contractor's role and responsibility.
- Oversee the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
project requirements, and manage overall coordination and liaison with third-party/client.
- Review and verify drawings and documents related to structural, architectural, M&E, and
interior design, ensuring the compliance with company procedures, engineering standards,
and both authorities' and employers' requirements.
- Manage the implementation of 4Ms (methodology, manpower, machinery and material) in
construction works and emphasise the contribution of time, cost and quality to the project.
- Review the critical path and implement construction activities according to construction
planning and master programme.
- Prepare fortnightly and monthly programmes (from the master programme) for site staff
to implement.
- Review method statements and subcontractors' awarded scope of works for all trades, and
provide briefings on their implementation.
- Comprehend specifications, quality requirements and testing procedures to ensure they
are captured in the construction works.
- Identify and resolve clashes among construction elements, and resolve the issues jointly
with other trades and project stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractors' progress, payments, valuations, variation orders and abortive
works.
- Provide technical support to the project team, liaising with owners, architects, local
authorities, consultant engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE)
standards to ensure project comply with the guidelines as established by the authority.
- Analyse and resolve any on-site hindrances, obstructions and disputes.
- Demonstrate effective communication, and build great rapport with subordinates and
subcontractors.
- Lead and guide the team members in carrying out their tasks and improving both their
technical and soft skills.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.
