Our Client is one of the biggest tech in Jakarta seeking for the new Head of Talent Acquisition
About the Role

As they continue to scale, we are searching for a Head of Talent Acquisition (AVP Level) — a newly created, high-impact role sitting directly under the Head of People.

What You Will Need
Our client needs a seasoned talent hunter — someone who is deeply TA-centric, thrives in fast-paced high-performance environments, and knows exactly how to attract, engage, and close senior passive candidates. Startup DNA is non-negotiable here.
You should bring:
- 7–10+ years of talent acquisition experience, with a strong track record hiring in the tech or engineering space — experience in fintech, investment tech, or crypto is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to hire senior-level candidates — you know how to engage senior passive talent and bring them across the line
- A hands-on, headhunting mindset — you're not just a coordinator; you go deep, source creatively, and coach your team to do the same
- Experience leading and developing a small TA team — you spend time with your people, understand their individual strengths, and elevate their capabilities one by one
- Strategic thinking around offer management and candidate negotiation — especially with passive, highly sought-after talent
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure where none exists, as this is a newly created function
- Openness to gradually taking on HRBP responsibilities for the engineering population as the function evolves
- Familiarity with sourcing engineering talent globally — at minimum, a strong network and methodology for engaging senior tech talent beyond Indonesia
- Own end-to-end talent acquisition for the engineering function
- Lead senior-level hiring — both through direct sourcing and via retained/contingency search partners
- Manage a team of 5 TA specialists — coach them, develop them, and instill a headhunting culture across the team
- Drive a high-quality candidate experience — especially for senior passive candidates who need to be nurtured, not processed
- Collaborate closely with the Head of People and engineering leadership to align hiring plans with business priorities and headcount targets
- Build and refine TA processes, tooling, and reporting — bring rigour and structure to a function that is ready to scale
- Transition into an HRBP capacity for engineering over time — supporting people matters, performance conversations, and org health as the role evolves
- Contribute to employer branding and talent positioning to attract top-tier engineering talent locally and regionally
