Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a cross-country, multi-disciplinary data science team to design and deploy advanced predictive models.
- Take ownership from concept to production — developing, testing, and optimizing machine learning models across multiple business domains.
- Conduct research and experimentation to continuously enhance model performance and scalability, leveraging large-scale and diverse datasets.
- Partner closely with engineering and business teams to translate data insights into impactful, measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to advancing the overall data science practice within the organization through innovation and best practices.
Key Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning or statistical models.
- Proven track record in credit risk modelling or other risk-related predictive modelling (minimum 3–4 years).
- Proficient in Python or R, with solid grounding in statistics and mathematics.
- Familiarity with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL environments (e.g., S3 or similar).
- Strong communication skills, self-driven, and able to work independently within a dynamic environment.
- (Preferred) Experience leveraging alternative data sources, or building deep learning / NLP-based predictive models.
