IT Project Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

A technology-driven logistics company in Jakarta is looking for an IT Project Project Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to support technology projects involving China-based vendors and internal teams in Indonesia.

This role will act as the communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders across IT, product, engineering, and operations. The main focus is to support project coordination, vendor communication, technical clarification, documentation, and follow-up for ongoing and upcoming IT initiatives.

We are looking for someone who can speak Mandarin professionally, understand basic technology concepts, coordinate with technical teams, and proactively help move projects forward.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate IT projects involving China-based technology vendors and internal teams in Indonesia.
• Act as the main bridge for Mandarin communication between vendors and local stakeholders.
• Support project planning, coordination, follow-up, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Assist with server / system migration and other technology implementation initiatives.
• Work closely with IT, product, engineering, and operations teams to clarify requirements and project needs.
• Communicate project updates, technical issues, timelines, and action items clearly to all stakeholders.
• Translate Mandarin technical discussions into clear internal updates.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Prepare meeting notes, project status updates, documentation, and follow-up lists.
• Support testing, UAT coordination, go-live preparation, and post-implementation follow-up.
• Proactively follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure tasks are completed.

Requirements:

• Fluent or professional working proficiency in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Able to use Mandarin in a business or technical project environment.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT project coordination, IT project management, business analysis, system analysis, implementation, technical support, or technology delivery.
• Basic understanding of technology concepts such as API, system flow, system integration, infrastructure, application, cloud, or server.
• Strong coordination, communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.
• Able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, hands-on, energetic, and willing to take ownership.
• Experience working with China-based vendors, Mandarin-speaking technical teams, or Chinese technology companies.
• Agile, Scrum, or project management exposure would be a plus.
