What You Will Need
Our client needs a seasoned Head of HR who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments and knows how to build the structures, culture, and talent strategies that enable a scaling tech business to perform at its best. Startup DNA is non-negotiable here.
You should bring:
- 7–10+ years of HR experience, with a strong track record in a tech company — fintech, investment tech, or crypto is a strong advantage
- Deep HRBP expertise — you have partnered closely with senior business leaders, navigated complex people matters, and driven org health outcomes at scale
- A strategic mindset around talent — workforce planning, succession, capability building, and org design are areas where you add genuine value
- Experience overseeing or collaborating closely with a TA function — you understand what great hiring looks like, even if execution sits with your team
- The ability to build structure where none exists — this is a greenfield function, and you are energised by that, not daunted
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presence — you are credible with engineering leadership and the C-suite alike
- Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of a scaling startup, where priorities shift, and adaptability is a daily requirement
- Familiarity with engineering talent landscapes, locally and regionally — you understand what it takes to attract and retain senior tech talent
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to engineering leadership and the broader business — owning people matters, org health, performance, and leadership development
- Lead talent strategy — workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and building a pipeline of future capability aligned to business growth
- Oversee a team of 5 TA specialists — set the hiring bar, instil rigour, and ensure the team delivers a high-quality experience for senior candidates
- Drive performance and engagement frameworks fit for a high-performance tech environment
- Partner with the Senior Leadership team to shape and evolve the overall people agenda
- Build and embed HR processes, tooling, and reporting — bringing structure and visibility to a function ready to scale
- Champion culture and employer brand — helping position the company as a destination for top-tier engineering talent locally and regionally
- Contribute to leadership and team effectiveness initiatives as the company grows through its next phase
