Our client is a prominent leader in the construction and engineering sector, with a significant emphasis on renewable energy projects. They are looking for a Head of Corporate Finance to manage cash flow, develop financial models, and ensure the financial stability of their renewable energy initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring financing, optimizing capital structure, and analyzing financial models and projections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow for construction and development projects.
- Oversee bridge financing arrangements to ensure smooth cash flow.
- Financial Modeling:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Analyze financial projections and assess project feasibility.
- Liquidity and Financial Stability:
- Monitor and manage the company's liquidity and cash flow.
- Ensure financial stability and efficient cash management strategies.
- Cash Management Strategy:
- Develop and execute cash management strategies in alignment with the company's objectives.
- Collaborate with the treasury department to implement effective cash management practices.
- Banking and Investor Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and investors.
- Negotiate financing agreements, terms, interest rates, and collateral arrangements.
- Financial Structuring and Proposal Development:
- Structure financing arrangements and optimize capital structure.
- Prepare and present financial proposals, reports, and analyses.
- Risk Management:
- Assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate fluctuations and currency considerations (USD vs. IDR).
- Litigation and Compliance:
- Oversee financial litigation matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Proven experience in financial management, particularly in cash flow management and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
- Experience in managing relationships with banks, lenders, and investors.
- Familiarity with financing structuring, capital structuring, and proposal development.
- Knowledge of financial risk management, including interest rate and currency risk.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks effectively.
