Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the end-to-end Modern Trade and Digital Commerce strategy, covering both physical modern trade channels and online/e-commerce platforms to drive revenue growth and market presence.
- Formulate and execute integrated modern channel strategies, aligning offline and online distribution models to deliver a unified customer experience and consistent commercial execution.
- Design and implement a comprehensive omnichannel framework that integrates physical stores, e-commerce platforms, partner marketplaces, and digital touchpoints.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with modern trade retailers, e-commerce platforms, and fintech providers, expanding distribution reach and payment ecosystems.
- Collaborate with fintech partners to enable digital payments, financing, bundling, and promotional mechanics that enhance conversion and customer accessibility.
- Enhance digital channel capabilities by defining business requirements for online platforms, system integrations, partner APIs, and operational workflows, working closely with Technology and IT teams.
- Ensure governance, performance management, and compliance across all modern and digital channels, including partner SLAs, service quality, pricing, promotions, and regulatory adherence.
- Establish and monitor channel performance KPIs, including sales productivity, conversion rates, partner performance, customer experience metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Drive partner performance reviews, business planning, and joint growth initiatives to continuously optimize channel effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Group Heads of Channel Planning & Operations, Traditional Channel Operations, and Direct Channels to ensure seamless integration across all physical and digital channels.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Legal teams to align channel strategies with broader business priorities and governance standards.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen data-driven channel decision-making, leveraging sales analytics, customer insights, and performance dashboards.
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in Modern Trade, E-commerce, Omnichannel, or Channel Management roles, preferably within telco, FMCG, retail, or consumer technology sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is required. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong track record in building and scaling modern trade and e-commerce channels, including offline-to-online integration.
- Proven experience managing strategic partnerships with retailers, e-commerce platforms, fintech partners, and digital ecosystem players.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate physical and online channels to deliver consistent customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of digital commerce platforms, payment ecosystems, partner integrations, and channel technology enablement.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue growth, partner negotiations, and performance governance.
- Highly structured and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into executable channel strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and managing complex partner ecosystems.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive alignment across multiple channel owners and cross-functional teams.
