About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned General Manager – HR Business Partner (GM HRBP) to lead and drive strategic human resource initiatives that directly support and influence business outcomes. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong business acumen to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and align HR functions with long-term company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner to the executive team and key business units, translating business needs into tailored HR strategies that directly contribute to revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams to design workforce plans that support business expansion, productivity improvement, and profitability.
- Provide insights and recommendations on organizational design, talent deployment, and workforce capabilities to ensure the right people are in the right roles to drive business success.
- Influence and guide leaders on critical people decisions such as succession planning, team structures, and performance management that directly impact the company’s bottom line.
- Align talent acquisition and development initiatives with business forecasts to ensure a future-ready workforce that meets evolving market demands.
- Analyze business performance trends and workforce data to identify risks and opportunities, and proactively develop people strategies that enable growth and competitive advantage.
- Lead HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, productivity, and retention, thereby supporting sustainable business growth.
- Serve as a cultural steward, ensuring that organizational values are consistently embedded in business practices and people strategies.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including 5+ years in senior HR leadership or HRBP roles.
- Proven ability to align HR strategies with business goals and drive measurable impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing HR teams.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and operational agility.
- Solid background in engineering or technical environments, with broad HR expertise.
- Successful track record in leading HR transformations within complex organizations.
- Experience in large-scale companies, ideally in manufacturing or distribution sectors.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices and creating positive workplace culture.
