About our Client:

Our client, a leading software house with a strong presence in Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand, is expanding their business into Indonesia. They are seeking a Frontend Engineer who is fluent in Japanese (no certification required) to join their dynamic team.  The company specializes in: Service Development, Organizational Development, DX (Digital Transformation) Support, Development of systems, applications, and digital tools, Research, UX/UI Design, and Front-End Development and etc.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with the CTO to discuss and evaluate suitable technologies for client projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, internal developers, UX designers, and global team members to ensure project success.
  • Translate design prototypes into seamless and impactful digital product experiences.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment, actively contributing to discussions and sharing ideas.
  • Express opinions confidently during team discussions, especially regarding design and technical approaches.
  • Maintain an agile and adaptable mindset, capable of adjusting to shifting project requirements and timelines.
  • Be resilient, determined, and proactive in overcoming challenges.
  • Display a critical thinking approach to problem-solving, offering innovative solutions.
  • Passionate about design and eager to learn and apply design thinking principles.
Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years in Frontend Development
  • Strong fluency in Japanese is a must
  • Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS (SCSS, PostCSS)
  • Libraries/Frameworks: React, Vue.js, Vanilla JS
  • Tools: npm, Yarn, Webpack, Next.js
  • CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Netlify
  • Development Tools: Storybook, GitHub
