Our client, a digital bank in Indonesia, is looking for a Fraud Risk Specialist to monitor transactions, detect suspicious activities, and investigate potential fraud. You’ll work closely with the team to enforce fraud prevention strategies and stay ahead of emerging threats. Strong analytical abilities, fraud detection experience, and proficiency with fraud tools are required
 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leverage advanced tools and technologies to monitor transactions and detect suspicious activities.
  • Analyze transaction patterns, account behaviors, and related data to identify potential fraud risks.
  • Investigate flagged transactions and accounts to assess their legitimacy.
  • Compile detailed reports on findings, offering recommendations to mitigate risk and prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with departments like Finance, IT security, customer service, and legal to share information and implement fraud prevention measures.
  • Continuously monitor and stay informed on emerging fraud trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Proactively refine fraud detection processes to stay ahead of evolving threats.
  • Communicate with customers to verify transactions and address concerns related to fraud investigations.
  • Advise on best practices for securing personal information and preventing fraud.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in fraud prevention efforts.
  • Work closely with compliance officers to review and update policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fraud detection, risk management, or a similar role within the banking industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and customer interaction.
  • Attention to detail in recognizing patterns and anomalies indicative of fraud.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools, data analysis software, and banking systems.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies.
  • High standards of ethics and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay adaptable to evolving fraud tactics.
