Factory Finance Manager (Africa Based)

About the Company:
Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer, with multiple sites across various segments. The role will be pivotal in strengthening financial control and cost discipline across its manufacturing operations.

Job Description:

• Provide insights to senior leadership for operational and financial decision making and play a key role in ensuring cost-effective production and financial control across factory operations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on key operational and financial issues including production cost drivers, inventory performance, variance analysis, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Implement and monitor financial processes and performance metrics across factory operations, working closely with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve cost visibility across manufacturing operations to support more accurate forecasting and predictable performance.
• Oversee inventory valuation, landed cost control, production order financial closure, and factory budget ownership, ensuring strong financial governance across manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in production cost analysis, inventory control, and factory financial reporting.
• Proven ability to work closely with operational teams to manage cost drivers and improve financial efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong analytical capability.
• Preferably experience working within multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing factory budgets, inventory controls, and production cost variances within a manufacturing environment.
