Engineering Manager – DevOps

Our client is one of Southeast Asia's most recognized digital wealth platforms, with millions of active retail investors and a product suite spanning stocks, mutual funds, crypto, and beyond. As a licensed and regulated fintech operating at unicorn scale, they have established themselves as the go-to investment platform for the next generation of Indonesian investors.

• Infrastructure & Platform Stability: Take full ownership of our cloud infrastructure architecture for digital banking, ensuring systems are built for resilience, high availability, and continuously meeting the reliability standards our financial services demand.
• Incident Ownership & Reliability: Be the go-to leader when production issues arise, driving fast resolution across engineering and product teams. You'll track and improve key health metrics including response time and recovery speed.
• Security & Regulatory Compliance: Define and enforce security standards that protect sensitive financial data across all cloud environments. You'll stay ahead of regulatory requirements and ensure our infrastructure is always audit-ready.
• Team Building & Leadership: Grow and guide a team of 7–10 engineers, creating an environment where people are challenged, supported, and motivated to do their best work.

Key Requirements

• DevOps & SRE Depth: Strong command of modern DevOps and site reliability practices, from pipeline optimization and automated recovery to engineering systems that stay up when it matters most
• Cloud & Architecture Experience: Proven track record designing and scaling cloud environments on GCP or AWS, with solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, traffic management, and network fundamentals
• Seniority & Industry Background: 10+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years leading teams in financial services or banking — and you've managed people at the Manager level before
• Hands-On Technical Credibility: Comfortable working with container platforms and experienced managing the databases and messaging systems that keep critical financial applications running
