As Chief Economist, you will responsible for analyzing economic data, forecasting trends, and advising organizations (corporates, governments, or think tanks) on how economic conditions impact their strategies, policies, and risks. This position reports to the CEO and CFO.

As Chief Economist, you will responsible for analyzing economic data, forecasting trends, and advising organizations (corporates, governments, or think tanks) on how economic conditions impact their strategies, policies, and risks. This position reports to the CEO and CFO.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead macroeconomic and financial market analysis to inform the bank’s strategic planning, risk management, and investment decisions.
- Develop economic forecasts (growth, inflation, interest rates, FX, credit cycles) and assess their impact on the bank’s balance sheet and business lines.
- Advise senior management and the Board on economic trends, monetary and fiscal policy developments, and geopolitical risks.
- Oversee the production of high-quality research reports and thought leadership for internal stakeholders, clients, regulators, and the media.
- Demonstrates high integrity, analytical independence, and a solid understanding of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles.
- Experienced in preparing strategic economic analyses and executive-level policy recommendations.
- Represent the bank externally through client briefings, conferences, media commentary, and engagement with policymakers and regulators.
- Build and manage a high-performing economics and research team, ensuring methodological rigor, compliance, and timely delivery of insights.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Economist (SVP Level)
- Master Degree (S2) in Economy or Finance is a MUST
- Banking or Financial Services Sector is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
