Our client, a leading local poultry company, is seeking an Accounting & Tax Ass. Manager to strengthen and grow the team.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
Job Descriptions:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory taxes
- Manage tax planning and tax reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and company policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, particularly for manufacturing / operational expenses
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in manufacturing, poultry, or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing a team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is an advantage
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
