The digital economy will become one of the most important sources of income for Indonesia. It is predicted that Indonesia’s digital economy will increase by 8x and Indonesia will potentially have the biggest digital economy in ASEAN by 2030.
According to Muhammad Lutfi from the Ministry of Trade, Indonesia’s current digital economy generates 4% of the nation’s GDP and is expected to grow from Rp 15.4 billion to Rp 24 billion within the next decade.
